
Radioecology of Ukraine

Abstract
This book reviews the issues of an environmental behaviour and human exposure to major radionuclides sources of natural and human-made origin, which determine radioecological situation om the territory of Ukraine. The authors provided detailed characteristics thereof and compared the environmental effects of the uranium ore mining and milling, fossil and nuclear power plants. The book contains analysis of exposure by natural and man-made sources to general public, and also evaluates the idividual risk and possible consequences of radiation exposure.
Intended for specialists and policy-markers engaged in the sphere of ecology, radioecology, teachers, students and also for all those intrested in issues of radioecology and environment protection in Ukraine.
